... Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11 ... Faithful Lord, guide us through the struggles and trials of our lives. Help us to be renewed in the midst of them, to be open to new possibilities beyond them. Keep us strong, give us courage, and keep us always close to you. Amen.

Hi Matt,

It sounds like a genuine glitch to me.
Actually saver accounts are protected in Europe, up to, I think, 100,000 Euros?

BUT Will the Germans pull the plug on the Euro eventually? Yes, they probably will balk at putting their hands in their pockets eventually.

warm regards
Derek

No No No No FOR SHAME!!!

I don't know anything about it to be honest. It might be because the problem was limited to the North or it might be because it wasn't my bank.

That would be a darn good way to block a run on the banks if TPTB reckoned one was coming.
